Description: The Working Mind, a workplace mental health training program developed by the Mental Health Commission of Canada and delivered through Opening Minds. The course is designed to improve mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and provide practical tools to support psychological health in the workplace.
Key topics covered included:
Mental Health and Stigma – Understanding mental health and mental illness and recognizing how stigma can affect individuals and workplace culture.
Mental Health Continuum – Learning to use the Mental Health Continuum as a tool to recognize changes in mental well-being and identify early warning signs in ourselves and others.
Stress and Resilience – Exploring the effects of stress and developing practical coping and resilience strategies to maintain mental wellness.
Psychological Safety and Supportive Conversations – Building confidence in discussing mental health respectfully and creating a supportive, psychologically safe work environment.

Description: For anyone seeking to acquire their Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL) and Restricted Possession and Acquisition License (RPAL). Day one is for PAL and day two is for RPAL. You will receive a student manual and, if you pass, you receive a course report to apply for your Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL and/or RPAL).
Cost: Take both for $300 + GST or just one for $150 + GST
Enquire about hunter education, small or large group or club training (up to 30), ladies only, seniors or youth training. We provide consulting services regarding safe storage, disposal of unwanted firearms, and firearms ownership and sporting use.

Description: This is the full, two-day (16 hour) intermediate first aid course under a Red Cross certification. The course runs from 8 am to 5 pm each day. It includes training on AED use and CPR. There will be a break for lunch each day but food is not be provided.
